Crab crawl

While you're in Cayman, driving on the road and you encounter a crab crawling by (which you most assuredly will), why must you try to avoid running it over at all costs...?

Anyone?

Post your comments or email me your thoughts as to why...

Because its so much better to let it go so that you can eat it later!

Do you have to pay the fines or authorities ask you clean the messy crab?

Hmmmmm.....I don't know the answer to this one, but I'd love to hear it!

My first guess is that if they are of substantial size, one of its claws might puncture a tire?

Respect life? OR
How about the hard shell puncturing your tires? (just a guess)

Because they can flatten your tire. Seen it happen. Those critters are sharp if hit the the wrong way. Have you ever hit one? We hit on once. The sound of it smashing on the bottom of our car was incredible.

I had always been told its because the claw can flatten your tire as well. Plus, the crunchy sound is just downright creepy. Yuck!
